FAQ

Frequently asked

Is it sealed?
It's a cold system — gaps between vertical panels are ~3-5mm. That means wind and rain protection but no thermal insulation. For a year-round room you want warm aluminum instead.
Is it safe?
Tempered glass shatters into small cubic fragments rather than shards if it ever breaks. Standard hardware. Safe for residential use.
Cost?
Signature tier ($400+/m²). More expensive than framed, but the only solution for true panoramic views.
Sound?
Cold system — gaps between panels mean ~25-28 dB attenuation. Batumi boulevard becomes background hum, not silence.
Can I install fixed (non-sliding) panels?
Yes — fully fixed panels are an option. Cleaner sightlines, lower cost, but you lose the summer-terrace mode.
Lifecycle?
Glass: 25-30 years with normal care. Silicone seals: replacement every 3-5 years (~$30-50 per unit). Tracks: 15-20 years.
